I’m not an avid listener of the radio but when I do listen it’s quite evident of how repetitive it is. All you hear are songs from Kanye, 2 Chainz, Drake, Usher and so on. I’m not bad mouthing these guys, they’re clearly doing something right, but hearing the same song over and over again can get quite annoying sometimes. Wheres the change up? The music world is so much bigger than what you hear or see on the radio or television screen, have you ever delved into the underground? Almost everyone from Nicki Minaj to Erykah Badu, from Jay Z to Odd Future got their start from the underground music scene. It’s time to take more pride in underground artist and recognize who they are and their recognition is due here.
