gold—rush: Freddie was tenderheaded, probably more so than Roxanne. Angelina didn’t want to use any magical potion or spell in her son’s hair,but she was getting desperate. Every time she pulled a comb or a brush out, Freddie would run, hide, and never be seen again until dinner. Angelina tried bribing him with candy, toys, she even promised to take him to his father’s joke shop (she didn’t want him to step foot in there until he was eleven, only Merlin knew what the hell George had going on in there). Nothing worked, nothing could distract the kid long enough for her to get a comb through his hair, and Angelina knew he could never let her cut it, so she thought of the next best thing. Locs.
